We're back!
We've been moving house, but now we're back! DownThePub is back under development and we have lots to bring you in the next few weeks.

We have had a mention in Internet Magazine and we've been nominated Fortune City's Cool Citizen!

Lots of reviews and votes have been flooding in and we are now in the process of getting them all up onto the web site. Keep popping back, to see if Your favorite pub has been added.

What is atmosphere?
Ten Rules for a Good Atmosphere!

The "atmosphere" of a pub usually defines how comfortable you feel in the pub, and what your overall impressions are of the pub. But just what defines the atmosphere of a given pub? We need you input on this one! Please use the form in the Features section of Down The Pub and help us define the Ten Rules for a Good Atmosphere!

Where is MikesPubs!?
MikesPubs has gone! It is in the process of being re-launched as Down The Pub and is going to be far, far better than the old style Pub Guide.

Here are going to be photographs of the pubs, reviews, history, menus, facts and figures and all sorts. As ever, it will all be based on pubs visited by Mike, but now with help from Emily too.

If you are the owner of any featured pub, would like to disagree with the review, present your perspective or advertise, please email Mike at the address below.

Help!
Andy and Mike are prone to a bit of what they call "Random Pubbage." This basically involves driving in a car, taking random turns until a new pub comes into view. While very enjoyable, it can lead to them reviewing a pub and simply putting it as being in Sheffield. If you find any pub that is listed under Sheffield (or anywhere else for that matter) where the address is wrong (take a look at The Three Horse Shoes!) then please email us at the address above.
