this pub, fro what I can remember. I know

| This
place is amazing. It's a JDW pub, like
several others in this guide. So it is
the same but different. The same décor
and cheap drinks, but that's it. This
place is huge and is a converted cinema.
The screen is still there, the ceiling is
Sooooo High and the whole place
needs to be seen to be believed. It was
really quiet when we visited on a sunny
Sunday afternoon, but I am told that it
gets really busy at night. There
were also lots of wasps in the beer
garden when we were there! |

a little aprehensive about going in here
at first. It looks a bit expensive and
like a poser's type of place. Turns out
we were wrong. It is quite nice inside
and we had a good time. |

meals in this pub are gorgeous and quite
cheap. The pub is in really good
condition and the toilets are sparkling
too. A huge garden with swings and Bart
Simpson will keep your little nippers

Pomona has just undergone a facelift and
is a lot better for it. It is airy and
loud inside and is normally full of
students, which I don't think is too bad
a thing. They usually have good drinks
promotions. On the whole, it's a good
pub, but it's not the sort of place I'd
make my local. |

Porter Cottage is just off Ecclesall
Road, one of the best parts of Sheffield
for nightlife. It is usually busy
(Usually with students) and is a friendly
place. It can get a little smoky though,
so prepare to leave the place stinking.

| This is
a Hogshead pub and I can safely say that
this place is my local. You can guarantee
that I will be in here on a Monday night.
It is Quizgo night. We've gone down to
play every week for months and never won.
It is so depressing. The pub itself is
typical Hogshead which is no bad thing.

| This
pub is a friendly, locals pub. Unlike
many pubs I give a Local tag to,
it is not shabby and is in good
condition. The drinks are well priced and
as my friend Jez will agree, they sell
the best tasting Worthington's Creamflow
we have tasted. So why only three purple
dots, you may ask? This place would have
got four, easily, if I hadn't visited the
toilets. They are a little smelly and
un-kept, so if you have an iron bladder
or can hold your breath for a long time,
then you'll be sound as a pound, baby!
