A pub
that seems to go on for ever and ever. I
don't think I ever made it right to the
back! It is trying to be a bit of a
night-club. I think Sheffield has spoiled
me - this place is naff and tacky but the
atmosphere is OK.
This is
a pub typical of Crook, my home town. It
is shabby, loud, full of Crookites
and is the sort of place where you feel
you could get stabbed if you accidentally
look at someone in the wrong way. I
really dislike going out in Crook,
despite living there for more that
thirteen years.
