| This
place was packed on the day I visited.
That's a good thing because it meant you
didn't get a chance to look at the carpet
and the walls. Although I am not a big
fan of Yates' pubs, they are all clean
and in good condition. The atmosphere in
here the night I was in was amazing. It's
not a bad place. |

other Yates' pubs to see what I think of

| I don't
like Yates pubs much. Its as bad as the
one in Harrogate. Its
so chintzy - you get a headache just
walking in. The carpet and wall paper are
battling to be the first to make you
sick, and the over-use of shiny brass
just adds to the evil mixture. Horrible.

this place. It is wooden inside and a
sort of cross between a traditional pub
and a more airy and open café bar type
of place. I think it is strange but I
like it a lot. |

a good pub with a large selection of
drinks. It can be a little expensive and
busy but it used to be our standard
meeting place before a night out. That
honor is now The
Bankers Draft's. |
