The Ache!
It’s almost 24 hours since the Grand Adventure finished and I am still feelling the aches! It was a walk of almost 14 miles, with a rather disapointing 4 pubs on the way. The Barge in Rodley seemed a good one, but we arrived at five past three so were turned away due to their 3pm closing time on a Thursday. 
The canal was frozen every step of the way and so were we. The aches prevented us from feeling up to venturing into any Leeds city centre pubs, so we’ll save these for a further Grand Adventure to appear on this site in the near future!
