These are the Pint of Ale postings we made in April 2007.

On the train home

A couple in The Wrens were followed by a swift Copper Dragon in Dr Okells. This meant that there was no time for The Duck and Drake. But we’ve made it to the last train home and the guard has blown his whistle. Off we go on the Pissed Train home…

Pint 3 in the Wrens. We both opted for the Deuchers IPA, which is a jolly good pint. We’re currently in deep discussion about our next grand adventure to take place in December.

After an eventful pint in the Scabby Taps where we watched a baseball bat wielding man get arrested over the other side of the road, we have made it to Whitelocks. Matt has gone for the trusty Old Perculiar whereas I’ve opted for a taste of home with a Durham Brewery Definitive…

Well, it’s been a while since Mike and I went out for a night out. So tonight we thought we’d sort that out.

A mini grand adventure

It’s been ages since Matt and I took in some real ale in Leeds city centre, so tonight we’re going to redress the balance. After some food, we’re off to Whitelocks, the Duck and Drake, and anywhere else that takes our fancy. We’ll update this site when we can with our progress! Cheers!
