The Town Hall Tavern, Leeds A Pint Of Ale Pub Review
Local CAMRA pub of the season, we found there to be an unknown something lacking from The Town Hall Tavern.
This city centre pub is CAMRA’s Pub of the Season at the moment and it’s a pretty decent place, although I can’t help feeling that there’s a feel of a chain pub about the place. Perhaps it’s all the exposed bright wood and large open space in the middle. There were a couple of Tim Taylor beers on tap and the pint I had was of excellent quality. A mixed clientele is probably to be expected from a city centre establishment and the place had a bit of a buzz about it. Old books line the shelves and old photographs of Leeds adorn the walls. In all, a decent boozer to take the weight off after a busy day’s shopping in town.
