The Woolpack, Yeadon A Pint Of Ale Pub Review
An OK pub in Yeadon, The Woolpack is a good place for a pint after work.
This roadside pub makes for a pleasant stop on a balmy summer’s day, sitting at one of the outside tables surrounded by hanging baskets. Today though is not summer; it’s a dark February evening and we’ve popped in for a swift one after work. The reasonably priced Marston’s Pedigree did not taste as good as it could have, but was OK. The interior of the pub is dark wood and there was a good atmosphere building as people began to celebrate the end of the working week. A large plasma screen pumped out WWF wrestling: big men shouting nonsense across the uninterested pub clientele. I made the mistake of sitting under the low-mounted screen, resulting in a banged head as I stood up to leave. In all, a decent pub for a swift one, but not a favourite based on this visit.
