Sun and Deuchars at The Railway
Celebrating the first warm day of the year at The Railway
The first warm day of 2006 brought the crowds (and us) down to the canal for a relaxing afternoon pint at The Railway. The usually sleepy pub comes to life when the sun comes out. We had to stand at a busy bar and wait to be served. When the Deuchars was served, it was exemplary!
We took our pints and a bag of crisps outside. There were no tables free so we wandered along the quiet road a little way and found a big rock to sit on and watch the world go by.
Our favourite pub just goes from strength to strength when the sun comes out. Here’s one to summer!
