The Aviator, Yeadon A Pint Of Ale Pub Review

A brand-new, large pub conversion, The Aviator is modern and homely but a bit soulless.

We’re currently sitting in this new Smith and Jones pub in Yeadon. It opened on Wednesday so all the glasses, fixtures and fittings are new. There is a smell of leather from the sofas and the carpets are soft and bouncy. It has the air of a chain pub about it, which it is, but there three ales on tap and our Flowers IPA is top-notch. Unfortunately, this being Yeadon, and this being a chain pub, we just feel that the place will be tatty, scruffy and spoilt within a year. The leather will be ruined, the carpets will be matted and sticky. But perhaps we’re being pesimistic! At the moment, this is a fine pub worth a visit and the food does not seem too bad either.
