A swift one at The Old Hall Hotel in Farsley
A swift pint in The Old Hall in Farsley.
We took a Sunday afternoon wander to the Old Hall in Farsley. Today we sat in the lounge, a wonderful room, just the right size, with just the right decor for it to be a decent, proper pub experience. It was not too dark and not too light. Not too smoky, music just the right volume to provide atmosphere but not intrude. A small snug room perfect for sipping the wonderful pint of Jennings’ Crag Rat while waiting for our Sunday roast in the oven at home.

Great idea!
How many pubs have you been in, any idea?
I’m doing something very similar.

Hi Steve - thanks for your comments! We’ve been to many pubs but we have to admit to not always adding them to these pages! There are about five pubs in our ‘to-do’ list which we’ll be adding soon.
I like your site - do you really drink in each pub!? If you don’t mind, we’ll link through to your pictures where we share pubs, it should make things a little more interesting!
Your count is astounding! I think that I’ll start a count and keep it updated on this site. At a guess, it’ll be only two or three hundred, but I’ve only been going for a few years! I did keep a list all through 1998 and reached 120ish — only a few thousand to go and I’ll have caught up with you! Keep your eyes on Pint Of Ale for my list!

I have to have an alcoholic drink in each pub for it to count.
I’ve no problem in you using the photos. Most of them aren’t right good though!
