An excellent start to the adventure - The Old Bank of England on Fleet Street.
After a quick tour of Westminster and the Palace we’ve ventured into our first pub, the Old Bank of England on Fleet Street. A large bar area takes up the middle of the room with chairs and tables around the side. The place has a traditional feel about it, however it appears to be a recent conversion. We’re just waiting for our steak and ale pies while enjoying our pints. Mike’s gone for a Fullers Discovery, while I’ve opted for Fullers ESB (a personal favourite of mine).
