Pint #6
Pint number 6 sees us at The Sherlock Holmes on Northumberland Street.
Due to technical difficulties, here is Pint 6 again…
After another brisk walk, we entered the Sherlock Holmes pub on Northumberland Avenue. Being my childhood favourite detective I opted for the Sherlock Holmes ale, as did Mike. Despite the weight the name carries, the pub and the ale didn’t live up to my expectation. However, the atmosphere was friendly and the ale choice was plentiful.
