Pint #7

Our seventh pint is taken at The Black Bull on Whitechapel Road.

Our first underground ride in a while brings us along the District Line to the arse-end of the Monopoly board: the Browns. Whitechapel Road is awash with kiosks selling DVDs of films that aren’t even it cinema yet and international phone cards. Oh, and the Good Beer Guide listed Black Bull, a haven of real ale! We’re sipping pints of Nethergate IPA and Matt is ranting about how his Google Mail account lost our last post about Pint 6. The pub has the feel of Leeds’ Duck and Drake about it: basic, a bit of a dodgy undertow but with decent ale. We’re seven eighths through our Grand Adventure and we’re feeling grand!
